Norba Electric Hybrid Refuse with Water Hydraulics is an extremely environmental-friendly vehicle.

Norba electric hybrid refuse collection vehicle is combining natural gas and electricity. The fuel of the engine is natural gas, and the motor that enables lifting, emptying and compaction is driven by electricity. All hydraulic oil is replaced by a water hydraulic system.

The refuse collector is equipped with batteries for the operation of a 72 V DC electric motor coupled to a water hydraulic pump.

The main features of the Norba Electric Hybrid Refuse Collector with Water Hydraulics are:

Extremely environmental-friendly refuse collection vehicle saving energy and working almost totally silently.
Charge of batteries from the ground power system during the night, or if required, during transport by means of the gas power engine via generators.
When the driver stops the vehicle for collecting bins, the gas engine stops a short while after he has left the cab.
The electric consumption is load sensing, and therefore only as much energy as required is consumed
