About Norba

Norba, which is based in Blomstermåla in Småland, southern Sweden, is a well known name with refuse collectors both in Sweden and abroad thanks to its competitive program for rational refuse handling. Norba AB employs 175 people and has a turnover of 340 MSEK. Around 550 refuse vehicle kits of which 200 are mounted on chassis in Blomstermåla, are produced annually. The remainder is exported as kits mostly to Scandinavia, England, France, Ireland, Greece and Spain but also to other countries in Europe and beyond. In Sweden Norba is the market leader in its product area.

The rear loading refuse vehicle equipments, together with the auxiliary products such as lifts for bins, sack carts and containers allow for a great number of varieties. For source seperated refuse Norba produces multi-compartmental vehicles in various models.

Produktion

One of Norba's great strengths is tailor-made production. The customised refuse collection equipment is supplied either in kit form or mounted on the chassis. Design utilises CAD programmes and Finite Elemental Analysis. Production takes place using modern fixtures and robotic welding systems with off-line programming.

One of Norba's most important tasks is to help customers reduce their costs for refuse collection. This is achieved thanks to Norba's refuse vehicles having been manufactured to provide maximum operational availability with minimum down-time.

In addition, all of Norba's units are CE certificated. They therefore comply with the highest working environment and safety requirements which apply to refuse trucks in the EU and EES.

Apart from this, Norba follows a well proven quality assurance system, ISO 9001. The system ensures that quality as well as supply accuracy is always the focus for Norba.

Environmental certification according to ISO 14001, shows that Norbas's products and ability to compete in the market satisfy current demands and are an investment for the future.

Our basic philosophy is quality, supply assurance and a rapid reaction to customer wishes.
